Nomveber 11, 2016
Jamie Douglas joins Jeff Logan (aka Jasper Bridge), Shawn Tavenier and Sean Tansey for the third annual Beards for Breasts fundraiser on Wednesday, November 23 at LIVE on Elgin!
Beards for Breasts is an annual fundraiser organised by local guitarist and songwriter Jeff Logan aka Jasper Bridge in support of breast cancer. The title is a play on words to the amazing initiative started by Ana Miura and Amanda Rheaume: Babes4Breasts.
The concept is simple:
1) Rather than running, Jeff takes pledges to shave his beard!
2) A group of Bearded Singer Songwriters take the stage to share their songs in an annual fundraising concert.
All proceeds raised at Beards for Breasts are donated to the Babes4Breasts Head Start Program at the Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre which supports newly diagnosed women on their journey with breast cancer.
This year's concert will feature four amazing Ottawa artists!
Shawn Tavenier (Silver Creek)
Sean Tansey (Lost to the River)
